The Select Hockey program is designed for kids who want to get a taste of more competitive hockey and want to continue competing in house league but with less cost and time commitment than travel hockey. The Select Hockey teams play games and tournaments in other Iowa communities and in other states such as Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska.
Annual evaluations are conducted shortly after house league begins with teams announced soon thereafter. Select Hockey promotes individual development with regularly scheduled practices, while emphasizing team play and camaraderie. So please be sure to consider playing Select Hockey as a way to help your son or daughter further develop their hockey skill.
